Cora, Katelyn, Tim, and Bokai present their research at the annual American Society for Virology Conference

This year's ASV conference, held at the University of Maryland, invited the grad students Cora (SIRT4 antiviral function), Katelyn (peroxisome biogenesis in HCMV infection), Tim (IFI16 oligermization dynamics), and Bokai (post-translational modification of cGAS) to give oral presentations. Ileana also chaired a Herpesvirus session.
Joel, Pierre, and Yutaka travel to San Diego for the 66th annual ASMS conference

The CHDI Huntington's Foundation invited both Todd and Joel to attend their annual conference in Palm Springs, CA. Joel also presented a poster on their work to improve proteomic isolation methods and uncover the interactions between Huntingtin and other neural proteins. 
Cora becomes co-leader of the NJ Prison Teaching Initiative

After nearly two years of participating in the NJ Prison Teaching Initiative (PTI), Cora accepts an offer to become the co-head of PTI. PTI organizes weekly college-level courses for prison inmates across New Jersey that are taught by current graduate students, and provide the inmates with college credit.
