Originally from rural Lebanon Township, NJ, Matt is interested in how herpesviruses modulate the immune response through secreted factors and extracellular vesicles. He is interested in exploring these modulations in multiple cell types within a complex viral microenvironment. Outside of the lab, Matt is the captain of the club flag football team, a member of the club soccer team, and an avid skier.
