Following his post-doc in our lab, Joel will be moving to Boston as a member of the Drug Safety Research and Development group at Pfizer. Congrats on this well-deserved job offer, Joel!

The Dagstuhl Seminar 19351: Computational Proteomics included a week of workshop-style collaborations and seminars in the beautiful German Saarland countryside. 

Set to be printed in November, Katelyn's work highlights in the "double-edged" character of peroxisomes during virus infections.

In addition to giving an oral presentation, Cora's poster on SIRT4 function was given the highest honors at this year's FASEB conference in Portugal! Congrats, Cora!!

The two undergraduates represented the lab beautifully, getting a chance to show all they'd accomplished in the lab thus far.

Ileana, a co-organizer of the conference, flew to Lisbon for the FASEB meeting along with Cora, who had the opportunity to present her work on sirtuins in an oral session!

At the International Herpesvirus Workshop in Knoxville, TN, Ileana presented our lab's work in a keynote lecture, while Krystal also gave an oral seminar and Xinlei manned the poster session. 

Both graduate students gave oral presentations on their recent work at this year's ASV, which was held in Minneapolis, MN, covering topics ranging from virus-induced acetylation to subcellular protein translocations.
