Cora was re-elected (for the third year in a row) as chair of our Prison Teaching Initiative. Following two years as co-chairs of the Adult Outreach branch, Tim was elected as Treasurer and Katelyn is heading the new position of MBOP Webdesign Manager, working to bring our science outreach initiatives into the virtual spotlight.

With topics ranging from DNA sensing to nuclear remodeling to protein interactomics, Josh, Laura, and Katelyn (respectively) embraced the opportunity to share their work on the virtual ASCB platform. 

The award aims to recognize Cora's attendance and participation at the American Society of Cell Biology (ASCB) Virtual 2020 conference. On a roll there, Cora! Congrats!

Xinlei and Cora will both be discussing how human pathogens manipulate mitochondrial organization and function to acheive infection. As a virtual conference this year, the American Society for Cell Biology's Annual Meeting is accessible to almost anyone - tune in if you're interested!

Giving a 4-minute virtual lightning talk that covers everything from virus-driven acetylation to nuclear remodeling to mitosis was a challenge, but Laura did a wonderful job illustrating our lab's work at MolBio Retreat this year. 

Cora, a fifth year graduate student, was honored for her dedication to and excellence in teaching undergraduate courses at Princeton. Spurred by glowing reviews from colleagues, professors, and students, Cora's accomplishments over the past few years were highlighted at this year's MolBio Retreat. Congrats, Cora!
