Our lab's work on cGAS post-translational modifications, led by graduate student Bokai Song, is highlighted on ASBMB Today

In an interview-based article posted by the American Society of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (ASBMB), Bokai and Ileana discuss their perspectives on how cGAS post-translational modifications (e.g., phosphorylations, acetylations) can toggle the anti-viral sensor's ability to recognize and subvert pathogen invasions. Bokai's - and his co-authors Todd, Krystal, and Caroline - work was recently published in Molecular & Cellular Proteomics.
