Laura defended her PhD thesis today, giving a wonderful talk that captured her elegant work in defining mechanisms of protein acetylation and dynamic remodeling of the nuclear lamina. She will next be moving to Boston to join the lab of Dr. Benjamin Gewurz at Harvard Medical School as a post-doctoral researcher.
