The Cristea Lab made their way over to Philadelphia to attend the annual Herpesvirus Symposium held at UPenn. Bringing together scientists across herpesvirus research—from basic scientists to clinicians—this symposium is highly interdisciplinary and always a treat to attend. Perhaps most importantly, we came out to support Dawei as he presented his work on liquid-liquid phase separation of IFI16 bolstering the immune response to herpesvirus infection.
